Its hard to believe that we are already about one third of the way through our last year as Fenn students. Ever year I have spent at Fenn has felt like it has gone by in the blink of an eye, especially at graduation, when you reflect back on the year pondering about how fast it went by with your friends. Every year at Fenn has gone by faster and faster. It feels like only yesterday I has one of those tiny fourth graders, looking up at what seemed to be enormous ninth graders, and wondering if I would ever bee like them. Its hard to even think about how next year I will be without most of the people that I have spent so much time and shared so many experiences with since fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, or even eighth grade with.
This year, for some reason has gone by the quickest though. Everybody rushing and worrying about the SSAT's, fall term grades, or interviews, just seemed to put the speed of the trimester into overdrive and before I even knew it the term was over. When the term ended, that was the first time that I had really thought about how this year may be one of the times that I get to see some kids who I have gone to school with since fourth grade. When graduation comes, when everybody says their goodbyes for that year, I'm not sure to be excited that I am moving on to a new High School, or sad that I am moving on from what has been my home for the past six years. It may seem like it is a little too early to start thinking about things like this, but the day where everybody parts eventually comes one day, whether we like it or not. It's up to everybody to make this last year one of the best, and so far, I think that it has been.
